We were invited to contribute to a yearly long-table dinner event on the North Vancouver Pier founded by Adri Creative. To illuminate the tables, we were asked to design a series of light posts that would be placed along the pier, helping to provide an ambience after sunset. Inspired by old wooden power lines you would see in cities, our wooden T posts were connected with LED string lights in a crossing pattern, creating an aesthetic geometry of sparkling light overhead. These posts were designed to be reused year after year, and with further events, we reconfigured the location of the posts and lighting pattern to create something familiar but fresh for the guests.
